The IMH is an Advanced Centre in Manufacturing that offers specialised training in Advanced Manufacturing (AF) and Technological/Organisational Innovation services for companies.
The IMH is a public Integrated Vocational Training Centre belonging to the Basque Government, and as such belongs to Ikaslan Gipuzkoa, the network of public Vocational Training centres in this territory. For its part, the IMH University School of Dual Engineering is, since 2011, a centre affiliated to the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU).
The IMH is an Agent of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network in the category of “Intermediate Innovation Body” and a member of i2bask and RedIRIS..
The IMH, as an integral part of AFM CLUSTER, is responsible for training in the machine tool sector. AFM CLUSTER is the organization that represents the interests of Advanced Manufacturing in Spain. Composed of four industrial associations, it groups 500 companies, employing 16,500 people and with a turnover of more than 3 billion euros. From its headquarters in Donostia-San Sebastian, and its establishment in Tianjin (China), AFM CLUSTER works to promote internationalization, industrial development, strategic positioning and training of people in its member companies.
